Donation appeal campaign for Solfraterno - COVID-19

Atualizado: 12 de dez. de 2023

Due to the pandemic, some charities have seen their supply chain compromised since the donations to their mission rely on selling second-hand products and were unable to do so during lockdown. Solfraterno, one of these charities in the council of Oeiras, Portugal, which supports 200 needy families, ran out of food and basic needs to continue their mission.

1. Identified problem

After helping Solfraterno set up its distribution of food baskets, their income, normally acquired by selling second-hand articles, was now closed due to the lockdown. To make matters worst, the news came that some of Solfraterno's community retail supporters and supermarket chains in the vicinity of its premises, would stop supplying food as well to comply with the rules imposed to prevent Covid-19 contagion.

Solfraterno needed a solution that would allow it to continue its mission.

2. Implemented solution

Make a an ad video that would allow Solfraterno to use it on their social networks and online presence that promotes a campaign for the Portuguese to fill up auty's Ceu's pantry (#DespensaDaTiaCeu).
